Non-Catholic Baptism--Valid but Graced?

Hi,

I feel funny about posting this question, but I need to know the answer. I was baptised in an Assembly of God church many years ago (there’s a story behind this). I was a candidate for Confirmation, and accepted into full communion with the Church. I’ve only been attending Mass regularly for a little while (and loving it!), but I want to know if my baptism is graced like the Catholic baptism.

This is important for me to know because I want to be a full member of the Church.

The answer is yes. If you have been Baptized, Confirmed, and received Communion in the Catholic Church, you are as much in full communion with the Church as you will ever get; this side of Heaven.

The RCC Does accept as valid most Christian Faith Baptisms done with water and in the Name of the Blessed Trinity [John 3:5 & Mt 28:29-20]

NOT ALL non-Catholic Churches do have a VALID BAptism; the Pastor, or DRE [Director of Religious Education, or RCIA team can advise you.

If necessary you can also receive a CONDITIONAL Baptism; wherein the graces and effects of Baptism will only be extended by GOD, if the 1st Baptism was NOT valid.

So YOU are covered either way,
