This one was posted already, but I want to add more details.
christianforums.com/forums
It’s a rather large network of forums, more people than there are on CAF but they’re also more spread out.
There’s a certain group of sub-forums that are for Christians only, and you talk about certain topics in each one. Then there’s another group of sub-forums that are only for certain Christian groups, for example Theologica Crucis is for Lutherans only, One Bread One Body is for Catholics only, non-denominational gets its own group, et cetera. There are also sub-groups for different types of Catholics, some of which aren’t exactly allowed to express themselves as much as they’d like on CAF (for reasons that are well founded of course), so you may want to look at them just out of curiosity. Anyone is technically capable of posting in any one of them without needing a moderator to activate something, but if you do post in the wrong one, someone will immediately tell you this is a more-restricted sub-forum and I’m sure it was a mistake, please make sure you’re posting in the proper sub-forum and let me suggest which one you can do this in.
And finally there is another family of sub-forums where non-Christians can talk to Christians, and a formal debate sub-forum is a part of that. This might be interesting to you, if you are up for more of a challenge. One person starts with a topic that needs to be approved by a moderator, there are certain rules of engagement, and people go back and forth for awhile but it’s limited to two people and they bring it to a close. It elevates and focuses everything, and you’re put under more pressure to be well prepared and have proper citations.
There’s a whole bunch of other sub-forum families besides that, including a chaplain area where you can talk to a chaplain about your problems and figure out what you should do. Plus a whole bunch of random-interest things where the people talking about them just happen to be Christians.
To the best of my knowledge, trolling isn’t really a problem and it is moderated, but it kind of seems like they don’t have too many fires to put out. It’s the sort of place where the same sorts of topics might be talked about on five different sub-forums, but there’s just one or two where a non-Catholic can pose the question to a Catholic and then they can return to a different sub-forum and talk things over just among themselves. Even the people who Really want to Change someone’s Mind have a place to try and do that, but it’s limited in scope and both people really need to do their research. It’s a different dynamic overall, and it also offers some variety that you probably won’t be able to find anywhere else. For example, traditional Catholics have a sub-forum (while also intermingling with larger religious communities to a degree), and liberal Catholics have a sub-forum (ask them what that means, no one seems to know!) but they also mingle with the larger community to a certain degree. You may also want to have a look at the debates and see what the end product looks like, by way of procedure and content.

Have a look around, there’s something for everyone and you can look for quite awhile.
