Non-Catholic Forum sites you would suggest?

CAF has been great and I appreciate not getting attacked for my religion every time I post something irrelevant to religion. (I’m assuming that at least some other sites were like this.) The people here do not troll 24/7 and most of the statements that individuals have made seem to be charitable enough, though there are always exceptions.

Are there any other forums like CAF in its environment that you would recommend? Preferably forums of a religious nature like this just so I can discuss the same things in the same context.

This^ , although the atmosphere is a little more carefree and has more of a small-town feeling to it. The mods are pretty active too. Let me also add that plenty of Oriental Orthodox reside there as well. Of due note, the forum seems to be undergoing maintenance at the moment. Hopefully it’s back up soon.

CARM isn’t Calvin’s fault! Good Lord, I visited that site a couple of times myself and you know what? The only people to blame for that site are the folks running it.
 
There are a lot of really bad ones out there. I don’t even bother anymore. My thinking is that if they really are interested in the truth about Catholicism they know where to find us here on CAF.

Good question. I sometimes feel like I ought to find such a forum and spend a certain amount of my time there. However, I don’t know if I could do without the “Ignore List” feature that CAF has. (But then, I guess they would respond that they don’t need such a feature because you should read all posts that aren’t removed by their mods.)

Exactly. Many just have zero interest in learning what the Church actually teaches. Go to their sites and it looks like a episode of Jerry Springer. A bunch of “Christians” acting like jackals just because it’s their venue and they can do that smh. I have zero interest in entertaining their non sense and then getting banned in the process. Come to CAF and let’s have a meaningful adult conversation.

Some Orthodox posters have been banned from CAF, so it is not possible for them to converse on CAF.

Perhaps if they followed the simply forum rules, they wouldn’t have got themselves banned, now would they???
