I am wondering what the practice is for Catholics to attend the wedding showers and weddings and wedding receptions for people who are not going to be getting married in the Catholic church.
A Catholic can in good faith attend the Marriage of two non-Catholics in non-Catholic churches or other locations, if neither have been Married before. Only if they are Re-marrying or Marrying a Catholic without the necessary dispensations or approvals.
