Hi - I am wondering what the practice or belief is for Catholics to attend - or not attend- the weddings and related wedding events, for those who will not be getting married in the Catholic church? :confused:

If they aren’t Catholic, it’s just fine. If one of them is Catholic and hasn’t received dispensation for me, it depends on circumstances but the answer is usually “Bad idea, because they’re not really getting married”.
