Can anyone recommend some good **CATHOLIC **apologetic websites that address challenges specifcally from:
  • Mormons
  • Jehovah’s Witnesses
  • Atheists
  • New Agers
  • Islam
Thanks in advance. 🙂

Have you ever heard of John Salza? I use his website every day, which is why I gave it the free ad in my signature. (It seemed easier than crediting him everytime I posted) Scroll halfway down the page and you’ll find the “Other Religions” section.

Peace,

Ryan 🙂

A better question in my mind, is what would you expect to be on such a web site? Maybe, seperate fourms as sub forums under apologetics is in order, where only catholic apologetists to each of those groups specific are invited to post like a blog by subject there.

I would expect such a website to be comprehensive in resources that directly answer the challenges specifically posed by these groups to Catholicism in particular and Christianity in general.

What I am doing is building an apologetics webpage with links to these types of resources. I already have numerous links to excellent Catholic general apologetics sites that often address these issues, but I wanted to see if there were any that specialized in particular groups, much like the following link that addresses Jehovah’s Witnesses:

catholicxjw.com/

Perhaps there aren’t any other such “specialty” websites, but I just thought I’d give it a try.
🙂

You may want to poke around, websites like Aplogetics Index, Answering Islam, etc.,

Try www.catholicapologetics.com. They do not have their materials on the web, but you can buy a set of their apologetics booklets. They have a booklet specifically for each of the groups you described (their booklet on Islam is forthcoming, though I’m not sure when it is due out). It is an excellent series, that I highly recommend.

Thanks for the suggestion but I already have all of these excellent booklets (I have used them to teach apologetics and Adult Comfirmation). As my OP and Post #6 said, I’m looking for web links to build an on-line resource page.

But thanks just the same. :tiphat:

It was worth a shot! I’m quite adept at giving people information they’re not looking for. 😃

I’ll have to search through my “favorites” on my web browser to see if I can find anything else that might actually be what you wanted. I have so many favorites, I forget what they are sometimes! 😉
