Hi all.
I just found this place and it seems great! I look forward to spending a lot of time with all of you.
My question is this. I have a good friend who is a pastor in a nondenominational church. Although obviously not Catholic, he has deep respect for the Catholic Church (he believes the Mass is one of the most beautiful events in existence!) and believes in transubstantiation. Is he allowed to receive the Eucharist in a Catholic Church?
The Catechism seems to say no (1399-1401) but the Code of Canon Law (Canon 912) seems to say otherwise.
Am I misreading one or both?
