I am having some people over. Some are Catholic, some are not.
Among these people there may be a priest and a deacon.
Is it appropriate to expect my non-Catholic guests to address the priest as “Father Whoever?”
I call my deacon “Deacon Whoever.” Would my guests also be expected to address him as Deacon Whoever, or just by his first name?
TIA!
