Non Catholics what do you like best about your religion choice?

How has it improved your life?

It helps me interpret the Bible. I have greatly benefited from the books of James White and Charles Spurgeon (although I am not a calvinist). Some people have a natural talent of making the Scriptures come alive; and that’s what I find in Protestantism.

Being a Muslim gives me a sense of peace in my life. The rituals and prayers remind me that I am always within Allah’s sight and always protected and loved. They also remind me to protect and love other people and to do good in the world. I love the community at the mosque. There are so many people from so many cultures, races, and backgrounds and when I look at all of them, it reminds me that no matter how different we seem, we are all the same - all children of God. Even when things are difficult, I have God and I have my brothers and sisters. So, nothing can ever be too difficult to face.

Bible Christianity, What I like best is that it doesn’t change. Do not add to it, or take away from it.

OK, then for sake of this discussion;

Then does it follow [i’m only asking] that you also “like” the thousands of differents non-catholic-christian churches; each with its own “LIKED” {freely chosen} understanding of the bible; which by the way is a Catholic Book.

May God guide your path

Again for the sake of this discussion.

HOW can that possibly be factual when such a multiplicity of personal understandings [that must add too or subtract from] exist in the Protestant communion?

May the HS guide your path

I like them if they’re Biblical. Many differences between myself and other protestants are rather minor.

I can see how my dad and grandpas have helped countless people in their parishes.

Are you saying Catholicism is not made of personal understandings? I am not referring to modern day personal understandings, but to all the early leaders of the Catholic Church.

It depends on what kind of truth we’re talking about. Whether or not we baptize infants is a minor thing. On the other hand, something like justification by faith alone is a major thing. Protestants agree on the major things, though there may be differences in minor things.
