Billy Graham is a member of the Southern Baptist denomination. So this so called ‘non-denominational’ church is really a Southern Baptist congregation. They don’t accept Catholics as Christians because we don’t ‘get saved’. I am pretty sure he is still living.

Well, they could be said to be non-denominational in the sense that individual churches of Christ don’t answer to an official, authoritative “denominational” body. They only answer to the local congregation.
I suppose all churches that follow a congregational form of church government might say they are non-denominational in the sense that the congregation hires and fires the pastor, and there isn’t exactly a hierarchy above the pastor. This would include Baptists, Pentecostals, or people in the Churches of Christ, which I think are in the Campbell tradition. But so what? Who’s to say the congregational-government tradition is any less traditional, or denominational, than Methodists or Lutherans, for instance? They still have church government. Having bishops doesn’t make you more “denominational”.

I don’t know much about the Churches of Christ; but the non-denominational type churches I am familiar with seem to have national “advisors” or “consultants” to assist the congregations along the right path. If they stray too far, I believe they can be dis-fellowshipped either by some national board, or by other congregations. I would bet they use “endorsed” materials for Sunday School, etc. I think “non-denominational” is just another kind of denomination.

How do Catholics view non-denominational Christians?
Baptist that like to drink

I can’t stand the non denominational music it makes me a nervous wreck

Divorce and remarriage is as common as getting a new car

James Dobson is awesome, John MacArthur and mark Driscoll must have a mental disorder

Also there is no such thing as a non denominational basically “pastor bob” makes up his own vision of who jesus is and it changes day to day

I speak from experience

I’ve noticed that many of these so-called “non denominational” churches have baptist theological roots. So, I question if they are truly non denom, or just a repacked baptist church. I know of a few here in the KC area that did just that.
