I cam across this article on Catholic Exchange about non sequitur arguments people make about the Catholic Church. This article does a great job of condensing a lot of the fallacies I hear in the news and around the web.

For those who do not know, a non sequitur is a statement where the ending doesn’t have any relationship to the beginning. It comes from Latin meaning “does not follow.” You hear these all the time when people make a statement and then draw conclusions that have nothing to do with that statement.

Thanks for the definition.

" There is no surer means of calling down God’s blessings upon the family… than the daily recitation of the Rosary." Pope Pius XII"

“Among all the devotions approved by the Church none has been favored by so many miracles as the devotion of the Most Holy Rosary.” Pope Pius XIV

These quotes come from the inside cover, The Secret of the Rosary by St. Louis De Montfort.
