"Nonspecific" mass

I’m not usually one to ask people to pray for me, because I’m a pretty private person, but I think this is a perfect forum to do just that.

On Friday, I had a Renal (kidney) ultrasound, and before I got home, they called with the results. (never a good sign :p)

They said they found a “nonspecific” mass on one of my kidneys, and want to do additional testing.

I usually try not to panic before I know there is a reason to, but this has me flustered a bit.

Any and all prayers are welcome.

Praying that you will be abandoned to God’s Merciful Love fully confident in His Merciful Love. Whatever God permits this nonspecific mass to be it is his will for you and for your spiritual benefit. May you place all your trust in the Lord’s goodness and providence and try to be patient and prayerfully present to him. He will help you get through this if you just ask him to help you. May you pray often and receive Jesus frequently in the Sacraments for the strength and courage you need. Amen.
 
Thank you all for the prayers and support, I can really feel them at work.

I have my CT scan scheduled for the 24th. (my choice).

What better day to lay things at the feet of our Lord, than on the date of his birth.

I will keep you all posted.

The results are in!!!

It is NOT cancer!! :extrahappy:

I have a 3/4 inch cyst on my right kidney, and my left kidney has 2 ureters. Evidently I was born with the 2 ureters.

I also have a 1/2 cyst on my liver.

None of them show any type of cancer, and they are going to leave them alone unless a problem arises in the future (unlikely).

Praise God, and thank you all for your prayers!!!

Dear Father, I pray for twopekinguys that his renal ultrasound results and further examination will result in something of a routine nature. Bless the doctors who are looking after him and grant inspire them to take the best care of him. Grant him peace of mind. In Christ’s name. Amen.
