Can anyone please provide me with as many details as possible on Noonan’s book about the ceremonies of the Catholic Church.

By details I mean the book’s full title, Noonan’s full name, is the book still in print? I’d ask for the ISBN if anyone knows it but as most members of CAF are in US and I’m in UK may not be useful as its likely to have a different ISBN if published in UK.

Thanks:)

If you are thinking of buying it, I would reconsider before investing. It is a nice book, wonderful photos - but there are several mistakes in various sections especially when he is covering pre-reform clerical dress (some which are VERY easily noticeable to anyone who has glanced through Acta Apostolicae Sedis). In some cases also, (and this is my personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt), such as the precedence at liturgical events, it seems to go against the norms of the liturgical books.

Thanks for that advice AJV. I have heard before of its shortcomings and have resisted buying it for those reasons. However, I have more or less decided to buy it because I know of no (better) alternative. If I buy it, I will do so with the caveat that it should not be relied on a an authoritative source.
