I am semi-retired and we are buying a house in Norfolk, VA Bayview area as a vacation/retirement home. We love the area and will probably be there most of the year so a bit more than a vacation home. It looks like St Pius X is going to be our closest parish and, reading their website, it looks like a great parish. We have spent some time in the Virginia Beach area and we really love St John the Apostle in the Sandbridge area. We would love to find a parish like that one in Norfolk. Any comments/advice on the Catholic life in Norfolk?
