The Church of Norway-- the Lutheran body to which nearly three-quarters of Norwegians belong-- has approved church weddings for homosexual couples.

Same-sex marriage became part of Norwegian civil law since 2009, but the Church of Norway rejected ecclesiastical same-sex weddings as recently as 2014.

It will be interesting to hear from our resident Norwegian Lutheran Pastor on this decision. 👍

I would delete this since it is a duplicate of another thread, but I can’t.

Mod help, please?

I wouldn’t be the first duplication on CAF when it comes to the topic of homosexuality. In this case there’s also the same thread on the news forum.

This is very unfortunate. The Church of Norway has rejected the Bible. They are catering to the New World Order. I would advise all members of the Church of Norway to leave it. Norway can become Catholic again. The Russian Orthodox Church could also replace the Church of Norway.

The New World Order?
