I will continue to pray for you and your husband and that little one waiting to be in your arms.

If at any time you feel troubled please come here or PM me. I have a daughter who struggles with an eating disorder as have I. I also am a counselor at my local BirthRight and have spoken with many a married woman in the same financial straights as you are right now and can say with certainty how we have been able to help them with baby clothes, diapers, wipes etc. and maternity clothes for the mothers. Due to a liability issue we do not accept furniture or car seats. We will help you find them though.

Car seats - you should be able to get one through your local hospital.

Baby furniture - I have to tell you that many a baby started life sleeping in an emptied out dresser drawer with blankets for cushioning as a first bed.

Of course there is Craigslist and freecyle(?) among others. We have time to pull it all together to give you more on-line resources and don’t discount your parents, family and friends for showers and gifts.

May God Hold you in His hands as you carry this baby.

I am so happy you made the right choice, and I know God is happy too. God bless you, your husband, and your child and may the Lord always be with you and guide you through all of this.
 
I just wanted to pop back on here again and say again how happy your post made me, Patswife…🙂 Also, if you have any questions or need support throughout your pregnancy, you are more than welcome to PM me. I’m a new mom with a 6 week old daughter, so I just went through a pregnancy and know how many questions and worries I had…if you need support just let me know.

I don’t know if anyone else has invited you, but lots of us moms frequent two threads on the parenting forum: the Pregnant Mommies thread and the Pregnant or Not thread. One’s for expectant parents and the other is for those who are hoping to add to their family–but we all sort of lurk on both of them. Anyway, you’ll find lots of women going through pregnancy at the same time as you there and an outpouring of online support if you want it…👍

Just know that you and your baby are in my prayers and I’m offering up every little thing for you…🙂

That is wonderful! Sometimes things happen and we think we can’t handle it. But with God’s help, oh YES we can! Congratulations. Children really are blessings that enrich our lives. I am so glad to have been blessed with mine, because they have been a life line when I was going through some very hard times.
 
I’m very happy to see that you have decided to keep your baby. God will bless you for being courageous, not only with a child, but with numerous graces! I pray that you may have a safe and healthy pregnancy. Let us know when you are due.

This child is truly blessed and destined for great things.
Please keep all these letters/threads and show them to him when he is a grown man.
You were surrounded by a circle of light as this child will always be.
