I down loaded the virtual rosary which is an awesome tool. Today for the first time I used the Chaplet of Divine Mercy which is a little different than what EWTN does. Is this okay?

How about a link? Is it just a couple words different or totally different? Where did you get it?

Yes! I believe you got it from me and I use it all the time. You may be talking about this one prayer,
Quote: You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty. End Quote. I see no problem with it & the rest of the Chaplet is the same.

Yes that is the extra prayer. BTW thank you very much for guiding me to the virtual rosary.

The prayer is an optional opening prayer and very much a part of the Divine Mercy Chaplet. It expresses the purpose of the Crucifixion.
“You expired Jesus, and the source of life gushed forth for souls and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. Oh, Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy envelop the whole world and pour forth your mercy upon us”
