My In-laws are in town. We have had a rocky past, but is much better now. I realize that today I must not be spiritually fit becuase my fil is really getting on my nerves. I am imagineing he is doing it on purpose! I am trying to think of the little way but it is hard. What do you do in these situations to prepare yourselves spiritually? They are with us two weeks and I dont want to spoil it for them with a sour disposisition.

Think of people who irritate you as the “sandpaper” that smoothes the rough edges of your soul. Every time you respond in kindness, you become holier! In that way, they are doing you a favor — being a spiritual “benefactor.”

I realize this is easier said than done!

Wow, Philothea! I’m going to remember that one. Thanks!

May God’s peace, love and mercy be with you all!

Just remember to say “JESUS HELP US” especially before or when you are about to interact with people or are in situations that may be annoying or difficult. In this way, not only are you praying for yourself but you are also praying for others. People and or situations always turn out better, all because of the grace of God.

Frequent reception of the sacraments of confession and holy eucharist are very important in living that Catholic Christian way of life - a life filled with love of God and neighbor, a life of holiness. For in receiving the sacraments, our souls are made clean by God and He infuses and lavishes us with His graces.

God bless! Have a joyful and grace filled Easter!

Blessed be Jesus and Mary!

Inaddtioan to the above: Ask their guardian angels to minister to them in the next couple of weeks and especially during their visit.
