Notes in the 1966 Jerusalem Bible

I was thinking about getting a 1966 Jerusalem Bible for my wife as she likes to peruse the notes during her reading and currently uses an NAB. I had one at one time and thought then that the notes were decent, but now no longer have it and don’t trust my memory. Does anyone have some practical feedback about the quality of notes in this edition? Thanks

It’s a good translation.

The Old Testament notes are a little “liberal” in places.

The New Testament notes are generally very good.

However, the “full version” is out of print. The “Reader’s Edition”, which is easily available, has only brief notes.
