There are some that hate sites like LifeSiteNews just because they dare to report things that the Leftist Ministry of Propaganda (the MSM) actively and malicious censor from their news. They will do anything and everything to slander these sites with their “shoot the messenger” attack. I just “ignore” them.
I do not 100% trust LifeSiteNews, because twice when I dug into what they reported on I found that they had spun the truth to make the situation sound far much worse than it was. One of these times they did publish an update that almost admitted they had went overboard with the spin, but it was days after the facts of the story became very clear on other pro-life and Christian sites.

I now treat LifeSiteNews like Wikapedia. It is a great starting point but verify, verify, verify…

Isn’t this every news organization in existence today?

Very true. When something in the news really interests me, I use the internet to find several different sources of the information.

BTW, The LifeNewSite article in the thread has little to no spin. What I would like to see is transcripts of the Millennium Promise board meetings to see if Fr. Jenkins is acting as a voice for the Church when topics of contraception and abortion come up.

I have just requested some points of information from this MP organization including to read the last two or three board of directors minutes. I will summarize and post reponse in this thread.

To me, Father Jenkins has no business even being in MP. I am 99 percent sure this is a non governmental organization (NGO) of the United Nations. All of the organizations it “partners” with are UN NGOs. The whole “flavor of the “millenium villages”” it is creating are United Nations Agenda 21 ?Sustainable Development death and slavery “Earth Charter” Satanic death and slavery scheme.

Everything about the United Nations and their “sustainable development” wreaks of despostism and tyranny and controlling people and making them slaves and serfs. The United Nations has a long history of pushing “vaccination programs” especially on women that are in fact substances to cause abortions and sterilation.

As for malaria control, DDT was the most safe and effective medicine known to date to truly stop malaria deaths and the U N cabal destroyed the use of that medicine worldwide thus allowing malaria deaths to continue to soar.

The the bishops in several large parishes in the USA have reportedly said they refuse to give communion to Biden or Pelosi. Maybe many parishes ought to refuse to give communion to Father Jenkins. The truth is ALL parishes need to be consistent if they want the faithful to heed their instruction in faith and morals.

It is a mortal sin to occoperate and “dialog to consensus” (Hegelian dialectic) with any United Nations death and slavery organization.

We are to have no fellowship with the works of darkness and we are to touch not the unclean thing.

Is it true no bishop has control over Pres… Jenkins? Why is he and other pro abortion activists permitted to continue in roles with power over Catholic institutions? If anyone has a sensible answer to this question, I’d appreciate any information that will help me to understand why.

Wikipedia is rife with errors, unsupported assertions, poor writing, and politically slanted points of view. It’s not even good for a starting point, and I don’t consider it at all to be an encyclopedia (much less an objective one). It’s what happens when too many people with differing opinions have equal authority.

My sister’s high school won’t allow Wikipedia to be used as a documented resource in papers and research work. As for Catholic subjects, well, last year I got involved in correcting a falsehood about the Church in one of the entries there.

When LifeSiteNews makes errors, at least they acknowledge it. And I find them considerably more trustworthy than Wikipedia.

Journalism, by its nature, is bias. This isn’t necessarily bad. No one would read or listen to a story if it had no angle - it would be boring!

It just requires media consumers to be smart and take in different opinions. Read different newspapers, listen to a variety of channels, and visit different websites. I agree that LifeSiteNews has always been very bias, so it is important to explore issues reported there from all different sides and sources.

“Bias” has a negative connotation, when in reality it is a necessary and vital component of journalism.

Sorry I’m off topic 😊

The real problem isn’t about Barack Obama giving a commencement speech at Notre Dame. Everyone is well aware of Mr. Obama’s vehemently pro-abortion on demand stance. The problem rests with those who voted for him, and the multitude of Catholic students, faculty, parents and benefactors of Notre Dame that vocally support him and whether they have the courage to admit it or not, his pro-death stance on abortion. These people one day will all die and will each have to give an account to God for what they stood for or against in this life. While there is still a remote chance that some will repent, the majority will continue down the path that leads to everlasting destruction.

Fortunately there is still a remnant of persons who remain steadfast in opposition to
abortion on demand, and have the fortitude to stand up against political and religious leaders, and set their faces like flint against destructive and evil social trends just as Jesus and his disciples did.

May blessings abound to Alan Keyes, Norma McCorvey, Randall Terry and all of the nameless and faceless victims of injustice everywhere. It is not as important that the battle be won in favor of life, but that men and women are willing to take a stand and suffer whatever consequences necessary to stand for what is true, good, and morally pleasing to God. For such persons the world is not worthy of. In the end, God will make right every injustice, of that we can all be sure. Amen. Come quickly Lord Jesus!

This is a post from another thread. I’m not 100% sure this poster is correct, but I’m taking their word for it as they seem to know their stuff.

It is so sad that a institution dedicated to "Our Lady"has been led by one of her “sons” into such a sinful state. It should be a priority to be addressed by the Church hierarchy.

I am with you 100% AKG. God bless!

Wow. This Fr. Jenkins seriously needs to be disciplined for the sake of his soul.
