This looks like a terrific book.

The author is not Catholic, but he has a history degree and sounds like he has a real passion for history and being true to it, unlike the Dan Brown work his novel is constantly compared to. I think the comparison is only because the Dan Brown books are so famous and commercially successful. But this book looks way way better.

I watched the interview and thought it was interesting. Is EWTN always kind of like that? I haven’t checked, but I’m guessing it would be possible to watch it online somehow?🤷 I’m sure I’ll end up reading his novel, by the way, but I’ve got a lot on my plate right now. It should fit in well one way or the other. Typically I read something serious and a pot-boiler or lit at the same time, and switch back and forth between them.
 
Is his book The Fifth Gospel a book of historical fiction or a mystery or thriller? I like books where I can learn history at the same time. The author’s name, however, does not sound familiar.
