The specter of this abominable piece of legislation is growing closer, and we must do everything in our power to prevent this from passing.

I’m requesting that all of you pray a novena beseeching God to keep this horrible bill from passing, and to life the veil from the hearts of those who support it. Pray the Rosary and fast in whatever way you see fit. Don’t listen to music, don’t eat your favorite food, every little sacrifice helps.

God Bless you all.

Be sure that many of us are praying for this intention; and thank you for your suggestions regarding penance. Jesus did say that some prayers aren’t able to be granted without penance accompanying prayer
Christ, when His disciples tried, without success to free someone from the evil spirits which tormented him, recommended prayer and fasting as the most powerful weapon that man has against the devil, “This kind cannot be driven out except by prayer and fasting” (Mark 9: 29).

Jesus please hear our prayers for the legal protection of unborn infants
and touch the hearts of mothers to protect their unborn babies.
Please give them the kindness of others
and the means to support their children.
Please forgive and heal those who have harmed or killed their babies.
Jesus we ask Your powerful action in us.

Dear Heavenly Father, bend down toward the earth with Your most Merciful Heart, consider not what we deserve with our refusal of life through the election of our new leaders.
We know that you look on these little ones, your masterpiece of creation, not yet profaned. they are the children who die, slain by hatred, not unlike our distant little brothers who were killed by Herod out of hate for you…These too are killed by the sinister Herod’s of today, stewards of power and greed…
Protect us Father, from the intent of this administration as they proceed to place FOCA as a tool for this Holocaust…

Loving God,

Please hear the prayers of your people and guide the leaders of our country to prevent the passage of this bill which threatens the very fabric of our society. Please send your Holy Spirit to warm and loosen the hardened hearts in many people around this issue. Help all to see the beauty of your plan for them and to remember that all people have the right to basic dignity including the least of among us and the unborn.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, your son and our brother, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Praying for this cause.

*Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God
pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.*

Praying! Obama just made things worse by approving funding for abortion activities in foreign lands. God help us!

Jesus, please give a rebirth to Christian chastity that prevents the conception of unsought children.
And please let Your angels protect women and girls from rape that results in unsought children.

August Queen of the Heavens, heavenly sovereign of the Angels, Thou who from the beginning received from God the power and the mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly beseech Thee to send Your holy Legions, so that under Thy command and through Thy power, they may pursue the demons and combat them everywhere, suppress their boldness, and drive them back into the abyss. Who is like God? O good and tender Mother, Thou will always be our love and hope! O Divine Mother, send Thy Holy Angels to defend me and to drive far away from me the cruel enemy. Holy Angels and Archangels, defend us, guard us. Amen.

God and Father of Life, You have created every human person, and have opened the way for each to have eternal life.
We live in the shadow of death. Father, have mercy on us.
Heal our land and accept our offering of prayer and penance. In your love for us, turn back the scourge of abortion.
We pray especially that the FOCA bill soon to be before Congress will be defeated.
May each of us exult in hearts full of hope and hands full of mercy and work together to build a culture of life.
We ark this through Christ our Lord, Amen.:gopray2: :highprayer: :highprayer: :highprayer: :crossrc:
