Jesus asked for a Novena beginning Good Friday.

But yes, anytime of the year.

Here there is an Apostolate that prays daily in Hospitals, for the dying.

The Chaplet is not just for the dying though.

You can pray it anytime. Similarly with the DMC, you can pray it for any intention, like with the Rosary.
