You can pray through or if you want you can start on Day 1 today. Do Day two tommorow, etc.… I prayed through day two? Is that right?
Yes, I have a special devotion to the St. Gertrude prayer for the holy souls as well. Here are my threads with it:Started today. Thanks Steve
I use the St. Gertrude Prayer as my Rosary intention.
Our Lord Jesus Christ revealed the following prayer to St. Gertrude the Great. The Lord promised that each time it is said, 1,000 souls would be released from purgatory (and enter Heaven):
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the most precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home, and within my family. Amen.
Sure, of course I will pray for them. I have also placed your petition in the Prayer Intentions forum here: forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=197684…please pray for 3 relatives-of-friends who have all passed away in the past two weeks.
A Prayer Warrior is someone who prays for the intentions of others. Like your doing by saying this novenaI just prayed Day 1.
One thing…please explain** “Prayer Warrior”.**

Already joined in with day 1, Saturday 10 November, 2007
I’ll start tomorrow! The Church has dedicated the month of November to the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
Who will join me in saying a nine day novena, written by St. Alphonsus Liguori, for these Holy Souls?
The Novena, which only takes 3 minutes to say, can be found here.
Thank you.
God Bless
In Jesus through Mary
