Does anyone have a novena thats guaranteed to work in a short time…i’m very desperate and have lost hope!

(I hope I’m not breaking rules by giving advice but: ) Novenas don’t really work like good luck charms 🙂 . If it’s the will of God that it will be granted, it will be so.
You can ask for the intercession of any saint.

That said I’m personally attached to the Novena of OL Perpetual Help and that of the Sacred Heart

Prayers going up for your fulfilment of your request. :gopray2:
O Jesus, help those who place all their trust trust in You. Mother of Perpetual Help, whose name inspires confidence, pray for your children.

I agree with previous poster. If you are without hope, ANY prayer you pray with a full heart can help, but prayers are not charms, talismans, there is no such thing as a “hope pill”!

If you are really despaired and hopeless, you shoudl pray a lot, whatever formula is suited to you, AND talk to a doctor. Sometimes hopelessness has more ot do with chemical imbalance in the brain (aka depression) than your prayer life.
But fervent prayer helps in depression.

hopeless,

I agree with AJV. To me, it doesn’t matter what kind of prayers. God always know your needs. The best way is to pray pray pray with all your heart and faith then just leave it to God’s Will. Be perseverance in your hope and prayer. Keep your faith remain steadfast in God through praying… you will be surprise that the ear of God is ever attentive.
I keep you in my prayers. God bless! :angel1:

there is not any such thing as a novena, prayer, or devotion that is “guaranteed to work in a short time.” These are all methods of prayer. The purpose of prayer is for us to allow and implore God to mold our hearts, minds and wills to His. The purpose of prayer is not to make non-negotiable demands to God himself or through his saints.

I second what everyone has said.

A novena ‘gauranteed to work’ is like trying to bend God to your will.

God is not cruel. Talk with Him! He is Our Father. What kind of father would give his son a stone or a snake when asked for a piece of bread.

St. Jude has been of much aide to those with impossible causes.

If you really want some hard core prayers see if any parishes around you offer Eucharistic Adoration.

As this is a question about prayer, the thread was relocated to the Spirituality forum. I encouage the original poster to place a prayer request on the Prayer Intentions forum as well.
