Novena or prayers to St. Joseph to sell my house

Hi y’all, I hope I’m posting this in the right place - I didn’t want to put it in the prayer forum, since I hoped rather to have a conversation. (That said, I do very much appreciate any and all prayers for this situation! Thanks in advance! 🙏 ❤️)

We are trying very hard to sell our house. We’ve had a new house built and need to sell the old one - the contractors building the house are an entire month ahead of schedule, and we are really feeling the crunch!

I’d like to start a novena to St. Joseph (or just some prayers in general) as I understand he’s handy with these things. I don’t go in for the whole “bury a statue of St. Joseph in your yard” or bury one upside down, or what have you, as I think that’s just superstitious. But I do believe in the power of prayer!

Appreciate any advice on this one!

St. Joseph will accept any prayer, whether it’s a novena, a regular ol’ prayer, or a statue buried upside down in the yard. He’s an awesome saint and in my opinion the next greatest saint after Mother Mary. Some people put John the Baptist third, but I put St. Joseph third. John the Baptist probably fourth. Many great saints have testified to St. Joseph’s importance and how he is often overlooked.

I bought this house I’m sitting in from a Jewish lady who buried the St. Joseph statue in her yard. I’d been praying to St. Joseph meanwhile to help me get a house I wanted. I chuckle because the lady was a little late to the closing because she and her husband had driven over to the house to dig up the St. Joseph from the yard, but she left me her mezuzah on the side door frame (it’s still there). I guess it makes sense that St. Joseph would help a Jewish person sell a house given that he was Jewish.

I’m a lady, lol. Awen is Cornish for “inspiration” (Kerdh is “journey”. I’m nowhere near fluent in Cornish, but I am definitely on an inspirational journey! 😉) No worries, I realize most people don’t speak Cornish!
 
I’m sorry, I thought it was like “Owen”. Also, I’m not very gender-neutral though I’m a lady too, and will usually use “His” as the default 🙂

We have a parking space that’s being leased. The contract is about to end, so we’re looking for a new renter. Perhaps Saint Joseph could help us with this 🙂
