I’ve wondered about this, though it doesn’t specifically apply to me at the moment.

Let’s say you pray a daily rosary, and then decide to do a rosary novena. Would you add a second rosary? It seems to me that you would, but I don’t know. I imagine there are no hard and fast rules, but what would *you *do?

Thanks,

Francesca

That’s an interesting question… I myself just incorporated the rosary novena into my daily rosary… adding a bit more meditations perhaps at the end… It never even crossed my mind to do two…hmmm wonder what others who pray the rosary daily do??

Indeed, there are no hard and fast rules. Pray as the Holy Spirit leads you to pray.

Make sure you don’t pile up so much vocal prayer (e.g., Rosaries, novenas, anything you have memorized or read) that you don’t have time for personal, heart-to-heart conversation with God.

And remember that one Rosary prayed well, with devotion, is better than two recited mindlessly.

*Well Said… and quite true:angel1: *

I imagine there is no directive against it, but I would say don’t. Just dedicate your daily Rosary to be your novena. I know a couple people who do perpetual Rosary novena.
