Novena (St. Philomena) to end child abuse

Today is day 9 and tomorrow is the court date. I wish to thank everyone of you who prayed this Novena and wish to tell you of two little miracles already granted by St. Philomena in helping these little children.

Miracle one: The Department of Children’s and Family (DCF) did not want the Children Protective Team to see my nephew because the case worker said they only see badly beaten kids. My sister got a call from one of the administrators of DCF and she told him of what this DCF case worker said and he said that he was going to order her that the Team see my nephew and he did. They are the ones who did classify this as physical child abuse. Before, and there were 7 reports made to DCFon this father and the abuses, nothing was done by DCF and no Child Protective Team saw the kids. This was a miracle that the voice of my nephew was heard by the right people.

Miracle two: The dad insisted yesterday that he was going to pick up the children today after school for his midweek visitation right. My sister has to give him the kids or be in contempt. Today came and he called my sister at noon time and told her that he can not pick up the kids today after school for his wife had to go to the ER for a problem she has been suffering with. The kids were so happy and we were all relieved for he was angry yesterday because his son won’t talk to him on the phone when he calls. This was a miracle.

Thank you St. Philomena and now we pray that the judge and /or DCF will cease all visitation for the dad tomorrow for the kids get picked up by their dad on Friday after school, at noon that day, for his weekend with his kids. The kids, especially my nephew, is terrified of going.

I will let you know of what happened in court tomorrow when I get back. Court hearing time is at 1:30 pm eastern time. Some of us will be praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, please join us. Thanks.

Thanks Nordar and for everyone who did this Novena. The judge today did not want to hear the motion of suspension of visitation. He left it to the Department of Children’s and Family, even though he said they usually do nothing. The children have to go with dad tomorrow after school, at noon, and stay with him all weekend. Please pray the DCF will stop this for they are the only ones who can for now. The dad’s wife is in the hospital and will be over the weekend which means he will neglect feeding his children as he did before. They will suffer. WE are hoping that he will call my sister and ask to switch weekends, but he is angry at her now for he was found in contempt of not paying child support.

More details at the other thread if you want details. Thanks again for all your prayer and I still pray that St. Philomena will pray for the kids so that they don’t have to go tomorrow with dad.

Thank you St. Philomena for all the miracles and even now I will still believe that you will help and protect these kids.
