Novitiate Entrance Date Set

Hi all,

I was just informed by our Oblate Director that my date of novitiation into my monastery has been set:extrahappy::cool:

12 September 2010:)

If you find some extra time, a prayer would be greatly appreciated.

What religious order? you will certianly be in my prayers. i plan to pursue a vocation with the brothers of the sacred heart, so if i could be in your prayers i would appriciate it:)

Just to be clear, I am the happily married father of 4. I am joining the Oblates of my monastery as a lay person (ie, not as a religious). Think of it as a Third Order:)

You guys probably already knew that, but I wanted to be clear:)
 
Congratulations, Luigi Daniele!

I saw below your signature that you are a ‘Habs’ fan…that’s Montreal Canadiens to the rest of you. So am I! I got some bummed out that they couldn’t make the Stanley Cup Finals this year. ‘Les Canadiens Sont La’! There’s always next year for another run at the Cup!

Me, too. But this season was still magical. They need a couple of more good players, and they will be a true force.

Yes, they do-but I was upset on how the fans in Montreal caused a riot in the downtown area and used the celebration as a excuse to trash and loot stores! I thought Montrealers had more class!

But then, there was the Rocket Richard riot back in the 1950s…

I always liked the Canadiens. I remember the ‘Flying Frenchmen’ days with Henri Richard, Jean Beliveau, Yvan Cournoyer, Guy LaPointe, Guy LaFleur…and Ken Dryden. I even got to go to a game at the old Forum in 1976! I was up in the ‘nosebleed section’ though…but it was pretty cool to be in a ‘temple’ of hockey! 😃 😉 😛

Sorry if it seems I’m ‘hijacking’ this thread…but I’m a big fan of ‘Les Canadiens’!

Yes, if you have the nuns’ address, write to them. They should forward it to whomever is head of the group.

When I was in the OCDS, I knew some of the members of the Buffalo group. They came to the October retreat that was held in Syracuse. Nice people…
