I’ve been going to the Latin Mass for almost six (maybe seven) years now.
When it comes to following the mass…I know what you mean. But after a while of following along in a missal, it got a lot easier. Now I’m at the point where I know where the priest is simply by watching his gestures.
Many at my parish are somewhat open to the NO. It happens though, that my family is very much of the mind that, though it may be valid, the NO has so many abuses that they could virtually never justify anyone attending it. Among some of the “abuses” I can understand their feelings…though to a lesser extent.
Basically, the way I see it is: if it can still be valid WITH some of this occuring, not that it’s good, then a person may choose to attend it and they don’t deserve judgement as to why they would choose it.
These are just some of my thoughts
