Today I made my first Confession and received the Eucharist for the first time. It was amazing!

I am so filled with joy at finally finding the Truth and converting to Catholicism. I feel whole.

It is very late here, so I may be rambling, lol, but I just had to share my good news!

My hubby gave me my very first rosary (it is beautiful!) and we are going to start praying the rosary together.

I want to thank all of you here at CAF for helping me along my journey. These forums have answered alot of my questions and pointed me in the right direction… thank you!

**Oh, that’s WONDERFUL!!! **

**What a beautiful, beautiful day it must be for you! :clapping: **

Congratulations!

I love hearing great news!

Congratulations to you and your family. Welcome Home!:blessyou:

Congratulations! Welcome to the Family! Now go clean your room! No, seriously, I celebrated the ordination of my nephew yesterday to the priesthood! So my joy is now shared between you and my wonderful nephew.

My one suggestion is to recognize the wonderful talents that God gave you and get involved in some of the organizations of your parish. Sometimes, I think converts don’t feel they’re fully ready (like a rookie in sports) to contribute, but often they help breathe new life and inspiration into parishes. We need to cherish every gift they bring to the family!

God bless, and welcome again!

Congratulations on your day. May God continue to bless you on your journey. Glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

I’m so happy for you! I still long to receive the Eucharist and I have so much time to wait. On top of that, I had a very bad time at Mass today and feel pretty lousy. But reading of your joy did brighten my spirits.

Your post brought tears to my eyes… In February I experienced the same thing and the memories came flooding back when I read your post. I remember telling my sponsor two weeks later that if God didn’t stop showering me with all those graces that I was sure I was simply going to **burst **with joy. :bounce:

Congratulations and welcome home!!
In His love,

GLAD TO HAVE YOU BACK HOME!!!

When I read your post I felt as if it had just happened to me as well. God the Father Almighty, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost move in very mysterious ways and touch all of us in some fashion. I pray that God continues to bless and keep you forever. You will be in my prayers always.
