Good day all.

I am looking for a good catholic bible perhaps nrsv bible with deuterocanonicals.

I am too poor to buy a bible and if there is anyone willing to send me their old bible by mail i am thankful.

Thank you.

In addition to what Little Lady said, I would note the following:
  • NRSV is free online, however it has different editions and not all of them are Catholic. The one you want would be the NRSV-Catholic Edition, also called NRSV-CE, which has an Imprimatur. You can read the NRSV-CE for free online here:
  • The Vatican also has the Bible (although I don’t think it’s NRSV-CE) online to read for free, in various languages, here. Click on the language you want, or if it’s not there, see the note.
https://www.vatican.va/archive/bible/index.htm
  • The traditional Douay-Rheims version of the Bible, which was commonly used before Vatican II, is also available online to read for free, here:
http://www.drbo.org/

If you have a smartphone there is an app called Laudate, which in it has a Douay rheims and NAB translations (everyrhing free, with Douay rheims being accessed without internet access)

Hello!
I have a little "The New American Bible…Saint Joseph Personal size Edition that I will send to you if you want it…it is a small paper back…just let me know…and it has a book cover.

You can try out the Douay Rheims(among others) in the link below, this particular site has all the cross references / commentary / artwork / and maps embedded in an easy to use format. Its free, no ads, and works on tablet and phone.

I use an app called “Catholic Bible” by Flavio Barisi on Android. It uses the Catholic Public Domain Version (CPDV), which is a modern translation of the Douay-Rheims. I think there are other editions you can download as well.

CPDV is by Ron Conte who I think is a member here.
