NT references & quotes of OT Septuagint

I searched forums to find the answer and couldn’t. What I’m looking for is if there is any posts or sources with information regarding all the known quotes & references in the New Testament to the OT Septuagint, specifically the deuterocanonical books.

I’ve read a few of them during my own studies and have heard a few others. But as I understand it there are a multitude of them.

Here is a partial list of places where the New Testament quotes the Septuagint: scripturecatholic.com/septuagint.html

Quotations from the Deuteros specifically are harder to determine because it isn’t always clear whether the quotation is direct, partial, or only a reference to a story in the Deuteros.

I don’t find the long list at cin as helpful. For example take the first reference ,

Matthew 4:4 and Wisdom 16:26

In Matthew 4:4 the notes in the NAB say this is a reference to Deuteronomy 8:3. Since, this was written before Wisdom it seems likely that Matthew was referencing Deuteronomy and not necessarily Wisdom. I made a shorter list, that as far as I can tell, only uses references to the Deuterocanonical Books

Thank you both for the wealth of information! I really appreciate it. This will give me a lot to chew on for a while!

One thing I did notice when looking at my NIV was that there was a footnote which showed Jesus quoted the Septuagint. It was clearly spelled out that way. But yet for some reason the Protestants refuse to accept the deuterocanonical books!

I don’t know how the Protestants explain away the very prophetic nature of the Book of Wisdom.

Their shorter Protestant version of Esther does NOT even mention God, whereas the fuller Catholic version has some very beautiful prayers to God. This is especially useful to point out when they start using phrases like “obviously inferior text of the “apocrypha” [Deuterocanonical] Books.”

The picture above was taken from a Protestant NIV Bible. Notice the 400 silent years where they have damned up the river. And then the river starts up again with NT. They only change I made was I blacked up the river after Revelation to be consistent with what they believe. So unnatural. Recognizing the weakness of their arguments against the Deuterocanonical Books, now they claim “The 400 years were anything but silent” all kinds of heretical writings. blah blah blah…
