A Revealed Scripture or a Revealed Book is for the guidance of the human beings- the most intelligent creature around the globe. Unlike other animals, humans like reasoning and freedom of will. So, in my opinion, a revealed book must have among others two essential qualities in it:

1. The pristine original text in the original living language – a straightforward and matter of fact claim for guidance on an issue/problem.
2. Reason content- a clue/essence of the argument.

If these are not there, the clever persons would misguide the people from the right meaning/interpretation and make the scripture corrupted and subject to their own whims; as if they are more wise than GodAllahParmesherYHWH- the All-Wise.

My understanding is that NTBible does not have both. If we give a relaxation on one, the other one won’t be there. Our CatholicsProtestantsJWs friends are, therefore, always finding ways to make their ChristianGod wise; as if the ChristianGod lacked/erred or forgot to do/say something which they are providing him now.

Neither do Muslims have the original Quran before Uthman, and Ahmadiyya/Sunni/Shia/Sufi/Druze ecc are trying to make their deity wise.

I think the whole concept that the all powerful God who created us and the world and holds everything in being would choose to communicate by a book rather ludicrous to be honest.

As Catholic we hold that God is Revealed through His covenant with Israel. The history of that covenant is held in Scripture.

We believe that through Israel, God acts and speaks in history- He “enters” history, because in the history of Israel He chooses to act and speak through human intermediaries.

This solidarity with Israel exposes Him to a series of infidelities, constant provocations of His jealous love for Israel, yet He does not disengage from His people. He responds to disloyalty with loyalty, to the repeated breakings of the Covenant with punishment, but also with the promise of a new Covenant for a purified remnant.

Thus the mystery of Israel’s history consists in God’s growing solidarity with the people as a whole. Yet- the infinite gap between humankind and God still remains unbridged.

A qualitatively new stage is entered into when Jesus the Word becomes flesh. The very logic of complete solidarity, the nature of a complete exchange between God and humankind requires as a necessary presupposition that there be only one subject in Jesus who is truly and fully God and truly and fully human. god would not be in full solidarity with humankind if He had not assumed all that we have and are. On the other hand, if Jesus were not truly and fully God, we would not receive the fullness of God in the self-giving of the man Jesus to us.

It’s so much more than a book!!!
