I feel as if I’m going to be ill. 😦 How could anyone defend the worst mass murder in the history of humanity? We are literally killing our own population with this spree of endless acidic baths and spine-cracking operations. It makes me nauseous just to imagine the myriad ways in which ‘doctors’ kill their own dear little patients these days. What a cruel world we’ve opened up in our hyper-sexual, relativist age.

You may say that people were always just as immoral, or ignorant of morality before today. This is definitely a truth, as we are sinners no matter the day and age! The problem is that, today, we do not recognise that we are sinners… we don’t even seem to recognise that sin exists. At least the older people who sinned, from past generations, were honest enough to say “we are sinners, and it’s wrong… but we don’t care anymore”, whereas today’s generation says “we aren’t sinners, and sin doesn’t exist… life’s for fun and ‘love’!”. Pure nihilism breeds a nihilistic view of sex, birth, and death.

Please pray, all you people. Pray a thousand full rosaries for the sake of just one abortion-inducing doctor. For God’s sake, for His own glory and majesty on Earth, we must pray.

82,000 murders Truly unbelievable. There won’t be anyone living there in 50 years.
What is the term, if there is one of genocide amongst your own kind.

To quote my friend Wesley (a Methodist): “this won’t happen with WITH MY GOD!”
Let’s keep hope and pray, and take action to change the world.

We were actually studying this data at planned parenthood in Boston-
It is concerning to pro life and pro choice equally I assure you!

The abortion rate is actually lower in NY now than it was in 2000 - and the TEEN abortion rate in NY is dramatically lower. So sex education efforts have been working in the state - it just seems we have not been successful in staying on top of the most at risks groups.

In NY the number of teen pregnancies has dropped 39 percent and teen abortion has dropped almost 20 percent which is awesome!!

Nonetheless - it is concerning, in NY they do see a high number of out of state abortions as well factored in by if i remember correctly it was only around 7k from other states.

There are a lot of problems in a city like NY that need to be addressed that would help lower the abortion rate.

I think one of the more positive suggestions for NY was instituting a mandatory waiting period to have an abortion.
The highest at risk group currently in NY is unmarried poor minorities.
I get a lot of grief from my own pro choice friends on this one - but I don’t think in MOST cases a woman needs to walk in and out and have an abortion- if she is in a doubt or worried only about money and support ect … those are problems we can possibly help her solve without an abortion.

In 100 percent defense of planned parenthood woman ALWAYS meet with a therapist and that person does not push for abortion if there is doubt they wait anyway - but as a therapist - I know how hard it is to assess someone in one visit and really make the determination that she is certain - or even not being pushed by a partner or parent ect …

I really think we are crossing some lines on the pro choice side. Pro choice is not pro abortion -
I wish both sides could come together a little more on the issue. I have always been in favor of offering women the option of meeting w a pro life or pro choice therapist. I don’t think anyone should be pushed in either direction.
I know there are woman that walk into planned parenthood not even believing in abortion but not knowing what else to do or where to turn - and I think a therapist with their OWN beliefs would be more of assistance to them than I would as a pro choice therapist.
I clearly think the choice of who to speak with should be hers. But I imagine a lot of the Christian woman who go in in that state if offered someone non judgmental who holds the same beliefs as her she would be better served…

I don’t know I always want people to work together - maybe I am just nuts haha

And just for the record before i get slammed I worked w/ planned parenthood as a rape therapist and post abortion therapy - and I taught sex education to high risk teens. I did see patients before abortion but it was offer therapy to women in doubt - and MOST of the patients I saw before abortion did not end up having an abortion-
Women need support and options.

I still do lectures and fund-raising with planned parenthood and have many friends there.

I don’t know if you claim the name Catholic but I can tell you one thing: abortion is pure evil and working with PP is putting your soul in jeopardy and is not going to solve the abortion issue. 98% of PP’s business is abortion. Birth control and sex ed have not lowered abortion rates. Condoms break and pills fail every day and cause more need for abortion services. I’m one of the many women who have been in that case. And what did PP do to counsel me? give me and my boyfriend more free cheap condoms and info on how soon I could get an abortion. I never wanted one but what other choice do they ever give women? All they want is make money. They are anti woman and anti child. It’s the most misogynistic organization that ever existed, not to mention their racist and eugenic agenda.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD = ABORTION BUSINESS
PRO CHOICE = PRO ABORTION

If you claim the name Catholic or Christian, please think about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We must never condone evil but turn away from it and expose it to the light of Truth.

One thing you are very wrong about, Pro choice is most certainly pro abortion.

My gut reaction is that this happened after the majority of Catholics voted Republican who in turn waged an unjust war, and making the Americans to be responsible for millions of deaths in Iraqi and Afghanistan, and also who sold out this beautiful country to the usurers.

Bush and his party increased the National debt by 6 trillion and left with a bankrupt country. Offering $10,000 for each woman seekeng abortion if she gives birth her child would cost only 80 billion for 8 million abortions . Much cheaper that voting Republican, and much more effective. Do you want to stop abortions?

The abortions will be stopped only if God and the Cgristian morality will be brought back to this country. There is no other way.

Moral: we Catholics should stay away from the politics.

Americans responsible for millions of deaths? Incredible twisting of facts.

Fact is that the democratic platform very clearly states that they are the pro choice (pro abortion) party and their naral rating proves that.

I think it’s wonderful that you reduced the number of patients having abortions by your counsel. Your job was certainly important and gave you many teaching opportunities, especially for one who worked as a rape therapist and as a counselor for girls before abortion, and especially at PP. Where else could a therapist be needed MORE than at PP, where the opportunity lies to prevent an abortion? I can see how someone would consider it “sinful” to work at PP in any capacity, but how can anyone deny the wonderful opportunities to be had as a pre-abortion counselor? Sure you’re not going to succeed at preventing all abortions, but Isn’t that where pro-life advocates are needed most? Whatever the reasons why you are no longer counseling, I hope you go back to it. Women do need support and options, and picketing outside isn’t going to reach as far as the counselors inside.

I am so sorry that this happened. That is not at all the standard of care at planned parenthood but it’s not the first time I have heard this either and it makes me very sad and angry.

Planned parenthoods main business is not abortion- Abortion accounts for less than a 1/3 of what is provided.
It is federally funded for the most part but PP makes more from routine care than an abortion - by that i mean paps - annual visits -
Birth control provided at PP is also not a huge money marker as its free or on a sliding scale.
However a lot of that funding has been cut.

Outside, on the curb, before they go in.

thank you it’s very rare to find pro lifers supporting what i did 🙂 That means a lot to me.

I do not do therapy any longer but I work very close w. PP here in my city. The sex education course that I taught was very successful and I train therapists and social workers to teach my method.

Where I worked myself, and 2 other therapists put in a place a policy of seeking outside consul.
I could never get anyone Catholic on board - getting any pro life support is very hard - but we did have Jewish Community leaders as well as many Unitary Minsters who would co consul with on cases where the patient was actually pro life.
In MA it is a lot easier to offer options … we have a great support system especially for young mothers wanting to finish school ect… our welfare and medicaid system is very strong!

My job was to guide my patient based on their beliefs not mine. I try to remain without bias and when that was hard for me I sought out help from the other side.
In my experience most woman w any doubt did not really want an abortion they just wanted help.

There is not reason for planned parenthood to push for an abortion - If you want to talk in terms of money PP also provides pre natal care and that yields more money than an abortion -

I don’t like to speak this way - it is less expensive to have an abortion then to provide medicaid for a mother and child -
But I am not into putting a dollar sign on human life.
If a woman is willing to allow help from the state in raising that child - especially getting through school the benefits out weigh the short term cost-

I worked with very good people most of whom I am still very close with. I understand pro lifers hating us though! Given my methods I had feminists hating me as well- oh well!

As for pro choice = pro abortion - you can label me as you see fit. I am not pro abortion that is what I was working to prevent - I am pro choice I respect a person’s right to their own choice.
I support you being pro life - and I supported other woman who chose to have abortions.

Since the Roman times the occupying force which removes the existing power is responsible for the law and order in the country. Some original predating was allowed (3days) but after that law and order on the expense of the conquering military.

Even the communist Soviet Army kept this rule, except that the predating/raping period lasted about three months. However they restored the destroyed electric and water plants withing 3 weeks after the siege was over a city. This is deep in the natural law.

Rence:

God gives many people many talents. Some should stay outside and work their magic there. Some go inside and work their magic. We’re all different. And we should use our gifts where they are needed 🙂 Why does it matter where counsel if given, as long as the outcome results in one less abortion? I call it managing on both fronts.

Because I seriously doubt that PP would hire a person who would tell every mother who walks through the door that abortion is murder of her unborn child, and that there is no reason on earth that that mother should have an abortion.

PP thinks that abortion is just a choice, morally equivalent to any other choice.

No, of course they wouldn’t. But they might hire someone who concentrates on the positive and not the negative 🙂

And anyway, I totally understand why you would never condone anyone counseling women and girls there. But I disagree. I think it’s a great opportunity to counsel women to not have abortions. And if only one woman is reached, that’s one less unnecessary abortion. That should make anyone happy 🙂

Sad, sad, sad.

Our Lord, may all worship for eternity be in Your name. May every soul who dies, especially all aborted or miscarried unborn children, be comforted by You in Heaven. We have faith in You, and ask You to guide our society in the pro-life movement and make the Church grow, so She may spread the wonderful message of You throughout the world.

Ora pro nobis, Nostrum Eternus Era!

I didn’t tell any woman this nor did I tell them to abort- I listen… and I guide people based on their own beliefs and I offer options -

If a woman is seeking consoling she more than likely 99 percent of the time does NOT want to have an abortion -
And at least half of the patients I saw were not allowed to immediately have an abortion because the therapist they met with wasn’t convinced they were certain.
I know everyone thinks PP is this evil abortion factory - and I understand NOT supporting or even liking them-
But the truth is more people at PP are working to prevent abortion through education than they are pushing woman to abort.
But like every institute - govt - agency - and church there are not so great people and very good people -

I was allowed to bring priests in to help consul women as well as refer them outside the clinic. This is still the practice in the city where i live -

Pro life is very angry and distrustful towards pro choice - and pro choice is very distrustful and angry towards lifers -
But the truth is on both sides there are people working for the same cause - from different angles.

Not everyone that is pro choice and active in the field is pro abortion …

The abortion rate in NY is horribly sad in my opinion. And PP itself has acknowledged this is and is alarmed by it.

You are right to assume at PP as an employee we accept abortion is an option.
But I can’t be a part of the solution if I am not working with in what is here.
Standing on the curb yelling would not help a fraction (if any) of the women I helped…
Screaming at a scared hurt women is not going to do anything to help her…
