Number of grown women who die from legal abortions?

Are there any reliable statistics on the number of grown women who die from complications due to real abortions?

I just went to a lecture tonight. Although there are some stats on this, most abortion doctors will, obviously, try to conceal this. They might list “embolism” as a cause of death, which is true, but they don’t mention that an abortion was the cause of the clot. And so on. Just understand that any statistics you get might be a little underdoing it.
 
Short answer: No.

Though states may require the reporting of deaths caused by abortion complications, there are no reliable statistics because the regulations are not enforced. Say a woman dies from a uterine perforation caused by the abortion that leads to sepsis. The death could simply say ‘sepsis’ and no one would know the difference. The state isn’t going to bother to second-guess a cause of death, and the death caused by abortion is going to go unrecorded.

It’s a frightening conspiracy to equate abortion’s legality with its safety. That’s not the case.
 
Rach620 raises an excellent point. See the article below, admittedly from a source with an anti-abortion bias, which makes the same criticism of statistics related to maternal mortality from abortion vs. childbirth:

“…the long held presumption that abortion is associated with fewer deaths than childbirth does not hold up once the pregnancy history of women is actually investigated using record linkage. Previously, it has been widely assumed that the mortality rate associated with abortion was only one-sixth that of childbirth. But those estimates were based primarily on information gathered only from death certificates or other public records. Proper identification of pregnancy history, the researchers found, reveals that the death rate associated with abortion is actually three times higher than that of childbirth…”
