Let’s just stick with crimes against humanity. Sending people to jail because of what someone believes is a crime against God, that is simply inhumane.

The reason murder is wrong is because it is a violation of God’s law–it just happens to be one you probably agree with. If there is no absolute arbitur of right and wrong–then all laws come about because of what someone believes–and sending someone to jail because of what you believe–that is inhumane. There, at least, is a justification for inforcing the laws of the creator–they come from the creator–not from the whim of the people.

Ultimately our rights come from our Creator–that is why they cannot legitimately be taken away. The problem today is that people increasingly dismiss that our rights come from God and once our rights come from and are given to by the government–well then they can quite easily be taken away–hello totalitarianism.

Reality cheque. In most of the developed world, abortion is legal, pure and simple. You may not like this, but it does mean one thing that you have overlooked.

And your point is? Legal = right? You are aware that slavery was once legal in most of the “developed” world are you not? Did that make it right? Hey how about you take that “Reality cheque”. Just what did the OP overlook in your opinion?
