Could anybody direct me to some passages in the Gospels or Epistles that refer to passages in the Old Testament? I’m collecting some evidence against Marcionism.

Matthew is full of them. Basically, Matthew was writing to Jews to show that Jesus was fulfilling the prophesies of the Old Testament, plus the lineage.

Every reference they made to Scripture is to the Old Testament since tne New Testament did not yet exist.

It’s not a Catholic Bible, but I have the New International Version bible which has cross referrances from NT to OT in footnotes. There’s tons of them.

I am curious as to why you are “collecting evidence” since that has been done by others, starting I believe with Tertullian, and continuing into modern times? I would think you would be covering old ground. Marcion accepted only a part of the Gospel of Luke and some of Paul’s letters in promoting his ideas about the nature of Jesus and His relationship to the God of the OT (or more properly, lack of a relationship). Are you concerned about someone who follows those beliefs today? They are similar to gnosticism

If you want to pursue this, I would think you would want to determine what particular types of references you are looking for, and then use an online search tool or a good reference Bible. As others have said, there must be hundreds and hundreds of NT references to OT passages, particularly in certain books.
