I think I may have found a link between Catholics and Evangelical Christians in this Gospel song:
Oh, The blood of Jesus
Chorus
Oh, the blood of Jesus x3
It will never lose its power.
Verse
Yet he was despised and rejected
a man of sorrows acquainted with grief
wounded for our transgressions
he was bruised for our iniquites
Solo:
Yet he rose on the third morning
with all power in his hands
Choir:
Came back to his father in glory
and is soon to come again
Both Catholics and Protestants believe this, but more, Catholics believe that the Blood of Jesus is made present in the Eucharist. So, when our Protestant brethren are invoking Jesus’ blood, they are, without realizing it, invoking the Holy Eucharist which makes the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ present for the benefit of all of us. Comments? Disagreements (respectful, of course
