ObamaCare Still Pays for Abortions

President Obama passed his government-run health care bill this weekend by brokering a deal with representatives who had previously insisted on pro-life protections in the bill.

The president secured the votes with his promise of an executive order stating no taxpayer dollars will be used for abortions. However, this executive order - as even Planned Parenthood agrees - has no teeth, and for the first time in more than 30 years federal funds can be used to pay for abortions because of provisions in the government-run health care bill.

Executive orders, which can be undone as quickly as they are created, cannot amend the law. And federal courts will enforce what the law states, not what an executive order says.

And the law includes a provision that provides billions for Community Health Centers without the Hyde Amendment restrictions that would prevent these centers from using money to pay for abortions.

This radical assault against the culture of life that we’ve worked so hard to foster shows how critical it is that we continue to remain active and vigilant in our fight to promote life. Rest assured, I will continue this fight.

Knowing the nature of these evil men it’s very obvious that they will use public money to fund abortion. This phony executive order promise means absolutely nothing. The power of darkness has it’s hour now for a short time.

Thats the rhetoric we need. Its just like the Albigensian Crusade: “Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius.”

Kill them all, the LORD will know his own.
 
With universal health care, there will eventually be abortion provisions, even if it isn’t included in the first wave of the plan.

Someone will initiate a lawsuit (likely Planned Parenthood) and due to legal precedent in previous cases, the Supreme Court will likely rule that it’s a fundamental right, a medical procedure, and therefore must be covered in universal care. Sad and scary!

I’m wondering if this country will see drs forced into performing such procedures and hospitals doing them instead of clinics.
