Here is a question to ponder on. How does one become a Benedictine Oblate, or any Oblate for that matter, if you follow the Extra-Ordinary Form of the Roman Rite exclusively?. Using older calendar, etc…
To me it seems way to confusing to follow two separate calendars, and forms of worship. How does one use the LOTH, or Monastic Breviary, when both are based off the Ordinary rather than the Extra-Ordinary. Shouldn’t Benedictine Monasteries, Dominicans, etc, have plans in place for those whose wish to be Oblates but are drawn more to traditional Catholicism, versus contemporary Catholicism.
