What do you do on Sunday? I have been trying to make it special by preparing all my meals on Saturday, relaxing, praying, and reading books on the faith. I am not Catholic yet, but I want to honor the third commandment as best I can. Any ideas?

Sounds like you already have some great ideas on how to spend the Lord’s day. Besides going to mass, I try to do whatever I can to spend time with my family.
Unfortunately, our family isn’t always united as I’d like us to be. My husband plays golf sometimes and depending on the season, watches baseball or football on tv,so unless I really push at him, our time together with our children can be limited.I’ve been trying to make a special Sunday dinner. In that way I know that we’ll sit down and at least spend that time to eat together and talk with each other. Fixing Sunday’s dinner on Saturday would be a great idea since it takes time to prepare everything and can use up a portion of the day. I might have to try this!

I relax however possible (watch tv, read, go to the shooting range, go on a bike ride - anything really), putting all the worries of the week on hold. Rather than making requests when I pray, I try to spend Sunday listening as I pray.
