I know that bad thoughts due to OCD are not sins, but is it a sin not to seek help to eliminate these thoughts? There are times when I am bombarded with evil thoughts,(they don’t affect my actions though)and while I do my best to get them out of my head, am I not doing enough? Should I seek help for this?

You have a certain obligation to care for the health of your mind and body. However, this obligation is limited. You need not strive at every moment to do everything possible to respond to the effects of your OCD.

As for evil thoughts in general, for anyone, the best response is to gently turn the mind to a good subject. Striving very hard to eliminate evil thoughts may only make matters worse. Also, due to our fallen state, we must carry the cross of tolerating a mind and body that is not in complete harmony with the soul and the will of God.
