Hello everyone! I am new to the forums.😊
I found this site while searching for information on a Rosary I have.

A family friend who was Catholic passed away about 10 years ago. His caretaker let me pick a few of his rosaries to keep as a memory of him. (they were in a zip lock baggie and going to be tossed.)
Even though I was not Catholic then I was drawn to one in particular that I felt was special.
I have had it looked at by Members of the Clergy down here and NO ONE… seriously… No one can tell me what it is. I hope one of you can help.

I don’t have a picture of it at the moment. So I will discribe it.
A metal crucifix followed by 7 white beads. (No spaces for Our Father, ect…) Then the center is the sacred heart of Jesus with Our Lady of Mount Carmel on the back. 1 white “Our Father” followed by 5 red “Hail Mary”. Repeat that sequence 5 more times then 3 red"Hail Mary" ending in 1 white “Our Father” connecting with the center.

It is not a shoddy repair, this was made this way the links are there unaltered and unbroken.

Does anyone know what this rosary’s devotion is and the prayer sequence?
The Clergy at my church and quite a few people here are curious about it now.
I appreciate any help you can give me.
Thank you and Blessed Be.
~Honey

Not sure it only starts with 7 white beads. Then the 6 groups of 1 white and 5 red, then the 1 white and 3 red.

Nobody here knows what it is.

Is there a devotion specifically for the 7 sorrowful mysteries?

WOW! You guys are AWESOME! Thank you so much! I am so blessed to have found this site. :extrahappy:

Always great to make new friends, Honey. We hope you stick around!

Thanks. 😃
The Precious Blood chapplet is about as close as I can find.
According to the refrence table mine would stack up like this
48 beads total
7 sets
5 beads per set + the one 3 bead set
7 separators and 1 end bead
the center is Sacred Heart with Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

That refrence table is super useful. I totaly saved that link. 👍

My Husband found an example of a Precious Blood Chapplet Rosary like mine and the Prayers that go with it. 👍
