Can the OF Mass be done ad orientem in latin with the priest doing the readings of the Liturgy of the Word in latin from the altar instead of a reader from the pulpit in the vernacular? Also can the servers say the peoples responses in their place? Also can the missal be switched to the gospel side by the server or servers after say the second reading for the reading of the gospel in Latin? Also can the readings be chanted by the priests in Latin at the altar like the EF High Mass?

just interested.

Everything, homily included (if the priest actually speaks Latin) can be done in Latin. The Mass can also be done ad orientem. The readings must be proclaimed from the ambo, however, never from the altar, and certainly not facing -]the wall/-] God. They can also be chanted. The priest should not do them himself, though; ideally a lector would be present for the OT and epistle and a deacon would chant the Gospel.

Your questions are all easily answered by a fairly cursory glance at the GIRM. 🙂

I believe the servers are expected to say the responses that the congregation gives, so your question is really “Can we all agree that the congregation should remain silent?” No…

Good catch, I missed that question. You’re right that the answer is no.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but there is no longer a “Gospel side” or stuff like that.

The rubrics of the Missal actually imply ad orientem celebration (otherwise many of them would be redundant). Everyone else is correct about reading from the ambo. Readings can always be chanted. ICEL has provided the tones at its website. The GIRM is very specific about people saying the responses.
