"OFT" is this a universal term now?

Of corse there is the concept that you reap what you sow. And if you sow a condecending attitude about others beliefs-I don’t think you are going to get many converts, no matter the intelligence of your argument. Perhaps the Diocese is smarter than you think?

But that’s the problem. OFT sounds like a condescending attitude because anyone with half a brain will spot it for the laughable attempt at papering over truth that it is.

Yes Sir!, this is indeed a sticky one. Let us face 2 truthes.
1. This country is mostly protestant-and if you are not insulting them then you are insulting their family. I am a catholic yet most of my family is protestant–but if anyone’s gonna kick my dog it’s going to be me.

 2. We as catholic's believe that seperation from the church may not be certain doom but it's a truly good start.(and protestantism is particularly dangerous because it leads one to believe in a false salvation)
So how do we address others respectfully, still keeping them seperate, without appearring to “gloss over the truth” ?
If I were a smarter man I could give you that answer; However, I do know one thing- The condecending attitude of many in the church is none productive and down right un-Christ like. Being in possesion of the truth is not a bragging right but a grave responsibility that in all fairness should cause a good man no small amount of fear. I know that in many ways I have shown to be a bad example and therefore to cast a shadow over the candle stick.----I will assuredly be made to pay every last farthing.
