Wow not one reply. friends it is ok to say if you agree with or like something.

Why is that so difficult to do? Is debating that much easier?

This is God’s personal love letter to you extracted right from His word.

As a former RC, I never learned to make a personal application of the bible which is for each and every one of us.

God bless you:)

That’s so sad…
What made you think that you had no personal application of the bible while you were in the Catholic Church?

I agree it is sad, but growing up, even though I was brought up and God blessed me with wonderful catholic parents…
I was never encouraged to read the bible by a priest, nun or even my parents. It was to my understanding that the priest, through the guideance of the holy spirit, was the one to interprit and teach us what the bible said. My role was just to follow along with the readings in the missalette. and listen to the sermons

My parents did not own a bible. As a young kid growing up, what was I to know? I was following my parents lead.

The first bible I had was the RC edition given to my wife and I as a wedding gift from a born again non RC Christian. Since I never read the bible previously, to us it was a foreign book and it went unread for a long time.

It wasn’t until I left the church that I saw the truth in the Bible.

thanks for asking,

Is it supposed to do something?
Good question, I believe the verses reinforce how God is letting everyone know He has their best interest at heart.

One of the greatest powers of this world is the power of love between 2 people, there is no greater love, I am sure you will agree, than the love God has for each and every one of us.

the answer to your question “Is it supposed to do something”

Yes it is, I believe there are people who may be burdened in their struggle of life, which we all experience at times, and the reason I posted this letter is to serve as a gentle reminder to thje one who is struggling that

There is someone who cares about whatever you are going through…God

And He is only a prayer away

God bless

No, the site. I loaded it (which took forever) and then it just sat there. Nothing happened- nothing appeared, there was no scroll bar- nothing.
