I still had some Christmas money leftover to spend on and I went out to Barnes & Noble to get a spiritual book or something and I happened to come across “St. Therese of Lisieux: The Story of a Soul” and “St. Teresa of Avila: Interior Castle” and I bought them both.

Both are great books. The “Interior Castle” is very interesting and has helped me spiritually.

Funny part is, reading about the Little Flower caused me to laugh because I can identify with her so much! :hmmm: I couldn’t believe it! Sounds so much like me.

She should’ve been my saint at my Confirmation!!

From reading your posts I can see why. St Therese suffered from scrupulocity early in her life and I believe you may also early in your Catholic life.

She will be a great roll model for you.

Actually… I felt the same about both books…Both St. Teresa and St. Therese are among my favorite saints…
BTW,
Happy Birthday!

**Isn’t it nice to strike a chord with a particular saint? Wonder to learn that they were all too human, sometimes so similar to ourselves.

She was emotional too like me! Wow. I should’ve chosen her for my saint darn it!😃

I was reading this and wow, that is so much like me. I swear, that’s EXACTLY how I think and feel sometimes (even wanting to be a Carmelite!):bigyikes:
