I know Jesus was without sin that is a fact but why could he not be married and still be without sin my dad says that SEX is a sin but is Sex with your spouse a sin?
And if not Why wouldnt he have married is it because he was gods son that he needed a spouse without sin aswell?

jesus might have married and had kids, we know almost nothing about his life from ages 0 - 30.

Because those with a family worry about their family then the World. Those without worry soley about the World firstly.

Sex with one’s spouse is not a sin.
Jesus came into the world to die for us, to save us from sin and open the way to Heaven for us.

Suppose He had married and fathered children.
  1. Would the children have shared in His nature as God?
  2. Would the early Christians have believed that they did, seen them as demi-gods and been tempted to worship them?
  3. What about the pagan converts, who in many cases were already predisposed to accept the idea that men could be gods?
On the one hand, there was no overriding need for Christ to marry and raise children. On the other, doing so would create endless troubles for the Church He had come to establish.

Sexual relations outside of marriage is a sin. Martial relations is not a sin.

Could he have married? Sure, but he chose not to.
Jesus did not marry because his commitment was whole heartedly to his flock which signified His total dedication to the service of God and men. It has nothing to do with sex. Hope that answers your question.

Why would Jesus marry if He is God? God has everything.

Marriage is for human beings who need companionship as we journey together in this valley of tears. The pleasure found in sexual relations is only a very small taste of the infinite joy found in paradise.

It would be the sin of adultery, and Jesus is incapable of sin. Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
158. Why is the Church called the “Bride of Christ”?

She is called the “Bride of Christ” because the Lord himself called himself her “Spouse” (Mark 2:19). The Lord has loved the Church and has joined her to himself in an everlasting covenant. He has given himself up for her in order to purify her with his blood and “sanctify her” (Ephesians 5:26), making her the fruitful mother of all the children of God. While the term “body” expresses the unity of the “head” with the members, the term “bride” emphasizes the distinction of the two in their personal relationship.
(And, as you might note, Christ’s sacrifice was in order that his spouse might be without blemish)

Keri. Your question is not stupid.
Abraham was chosen to be father of all the nations. This was his vocation and it was good.
Jesus calling and reason for being born was to prepare himself all his life for pouring Him self out for the forgiveness of all humanity shedding His blood at age 33 on a cross. His vocation was not in any way suited for marriage, not because sex is dirty, but because it was not the will of the Father. Besides this I do believe it would be problematic from a theological standpoint if God the Son had a child in this world and Jesus had a bloodline in the future while we know He had none in the past on the fathers side (His Father being the Holy Spirit) Speculatingly you can say God could have done either way and His will would have been perfect … but there is no need to speculate what if…

Suffice to say that Jesus Bride is the Israel and the Church, this Bride is holy through her union with Christ and only thereby. God is spirit, so this is the universal dimension. He came do fulfill a specific task without complicating things…

Peace:)

Eh? I dont understand this answer at all.
Why would God marry? He did actually marry Israel and the Church, and when He chose to become a baby in the wound of Mariam He choose even to become dependant on human love for a while.
God thirsts for our love, not because He is weak, but because He has chosen this, and because He is Love.

God does not need companionship… that is also a strange statement.
God is Companionship.
All His earthly life He was close with both His Heavenly Father and with the people He came to serve. We see the great AGONY when He cried out on the Cross: Lama Sabaktni!

Marriage is far more than sexual relations. Marriage is union, why our marriages is an image of divine life of unity in God.
Jesus was born here in flesh, He was circumsised, He toiled in the sweat of His Face, studied the Law and prophets, received love, ate, was baptised, wept and sheed His blood. Marriage was not part of His life because it was not His calling in this world to marry a woman. Not because marriage is beneath any of the other activities He did as a full human being…
