Ok..so my Christian website has been hacked

In Febuary 2007,I got an idea to serve the Lord on the internet,and so me and my friend Ginger made a Christian website.We put a LOT of work into it…We went on Catholic.org every day to get saint accounts,we went into internet cafes when the mcafee privacy service wouldn’t let us on the internet,we spent hours writing Christian poems,designing the site,simplifying doctrine,and making an online bible,and then when it was made some Prodestants insulted us and we had to debate with them,and then we remodeled the site to promote ecumenism,and we added stuff as often as possible,and we focused on the abolishion of blasphemy,and we just wanted to help people make an educated decision,and now,after we’ve been working on it solidly for 8 and a half months…it gets HACKED.Just take my word for it.No matter what you do,no-one (except MAYBE God) is going to appreciate you.Now I actually feel like becoming a criminal thief.I can’t help it.What difference will it make?Some people are hackers,and some people make Christian websites.I made a Christian website,and it didn’t work.So now should I be a criminal?I know God loves me,but I don’t think he LIKES me very much.😦 I forgave the person who did it…but they were being unfair.Look what they done to my beautiful site:(

Oh I am really sorry that all your hard work has been treated this way and ruined.

Don’t be a criminal, you are saying this because you are angry and upset and rightly so, but I don’t think you mean it when you say you feel like being a criminal…

In Mother Teresa’s Prayer it says:

God is pleased with what you did and many people will have seen it and been touched by it and have come to God, nothing is lost, begin again because nothing good is easily won.

Pray to St Michael the Archangel to protect your site and try and get some advice here from CAF staff about protecting it.

I’ll say a prayer for the hacker who has the brains to know how to hack but not the brains to know the historical Jesus.

Listen to Blessedstar for she has good words—and I am sorry about this happening. i have NO IDEA how to make a website but what you have described sounds like very hard work----and I am sorry—and how in the world does hacking happen?? is there any way to protect yourself from hackers if you decide to do this in the future again?
 
  • I used to host a voice-chat website long time ago, and bad guys came to give lots of problem. One point, I decided to treat them nice, and later it turned out they respected me for that.
  • One of my sites got hack not long ago and I just put the back-up files up again.
  • I closed another site which I spent more than 2 years working on - and there were many users visiting the sites.
The point is that don’t worry about those who can destroy your site. It looks like you are using a free service. Move on to another one.

Make sure to back up everything you have.
 
I am sorry your site got messed up. Please don’t become a criminal, it is never right to go and do wrong. God loves you. You can try again, as there are some helpful ideas here from friends.

I will say prayers that you will have perseverence and faith.

But the word “Back-up” sounds very reassuring:D
